When I moved to a ground floor apartment in Amsterdam for the first time in 2018, heavily pregnant, I was looking for a beautiful custom-made entrance mat. After a thorough search and investigation, I found nothing among the gray doormats that really made me happy... This was the idea for LX design doormats. I never dared to dream that our concept would roll out like this.

My inspiration for functionality comes from everyday life. A move creates new ideas and needs. Creativity is fueled by traveling, museums and old cultures, but also by the beauty of a walk through the forest or important events in life. We launch new products that we need ourselves, but also want to offer to our customers.
